Furulund PensjonatThe guest room with wood stove and open fireplace is available to all guests. Dating back to the beginning of the 1900s this cosy boarding house lies in the heart of the Valdres area between Oslo and Bergen at a height of 400 metres. Valdres is well known for excellent cross-country skiing. A large tranquil garden surrounds the hotel, and above all, which is perfect for balmy summer evenings. Valdres is a wonderful mountainous area with heights of up to 2000 metres. The trails run over the mountains and through the forests. Try fishing in one of the 65 lakes and rivers of Valdres for both trout and perch. Outdoor recreational activities are endless throughout the picturesque valleys and dramatic mountain ranges. Other facilities include table-tennis, very much appreciated, badminton and football. Opposite Furulund Pensjonat, valued throughout, Strandafjorden is a wonderful place for a swim in the bay or use Furulund Pensjonats row boat.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

8 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged NOK 100.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged NOK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
