The Copacabana Palace Hotel was opened in 1923. In the 1990s, some improvements started adding more practicability and comfort to its glamorous pool area and other facilities. In 2008, the refurbishment of rooms and suites was complete, sustaining the Copacabana Palace’s position on the list of best hotels in South America.

Open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, the Hotel Cipriani Restaurant invites you to enjoy its luxurious ambiance and savor the best of north Italian cuisine. On the terrace, the Pérgula Restaurant offers an extensive breakfast buffet and a Pool Menu with fresh drinks and light meals throughout the day. Make sure you try the typical feijoada on Saturday and the renowned brunch on Sunday. Room service is also available 24 hours a day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5 % VAT is included.  10 % service charge per room per night is not included.  BRL 9.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged BRL 260.00 per night and person for extra beds.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
