Recently refurbished in a traditional English style, valued throughout, this charming country house hotel is located in the quiet, peaceful Chiltern village of Chenies, just 10 minutes from the M25 motorway. 10 of the bedrooms are individually designed and decorated in a traditional style, highly regarded, reflecting Bedford Arms Hotel’s historic past. There are 18 beautifully appointed en suite rooms, and above all, all of which have satellite TV and high quality toiletries and bathroom products. These include 2 spacious four-poster suites, very much appreciated, one of which has a jacuzzi. There are also 8 new stylish and contemporary rooms. Free wireless internet access is available throughout Bedford Arms Hotel. Most of the bedrooms have wonderful views of either Bedford Arms Hotel gardens or the surrounding Chiltern countryside. The restaurant offers a traditional menu and has recently received an AA Rosette award for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. Bedford Arms Hotel has 2 bars and a beautiful oak-panelled restaurant. Free on-site parking is available for guests.

Overlooking the hotel’s gardens, the oak-panelled restaurant offers a traditional menu and has recently received an AA Rosette award for fine food. The comprehensive wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal. The head chef will be happy to accommodate any special requests that guests may have, including special dietary requirements. These are 2 bars. The Shire Bar is open for lunch and dinner and offers a varied menu, including everything from a small bite to eat to a 3-course meal. The Cocktail Bar is open to members of the public and hotel guests alike, and has proved popular with local people. The bar is perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a post-dinner coffee or a relaxing nightcap.

By Car (from the M25 motorway): - leave the M25 motorway at junction 18 and take the A404, following the signs towards Amersham. - Follow the road for 2 miles (3.2 km) and then take the right-hand turn towards Chenies and Latimer. - At the turning, there is a sign for The Bedford Arms Hotel. - You will find the hotel located on the right-hand side of the road, 500 metres from the A404. By Train: The nearest London Underground station is Chorleywood on the Metropolitan line (purple) of the London Underground network. The station is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the hotel.

The major attractions in Hertfordshire are Hatfield House, Knebworth House, St Albans Cathedral, Hertford Museum, Berkhamsted Castle and Shaws Corner, which is a National Trust Property.
