Area information

Iperion Beach Hotel is located close to the old town, and it is 2.5 km to the port and 2 km to the centre. Rethymno is 76 km from the Heraklion Airport and 70 km from Chania Airport. There is a frequent bus service connecting Heraklion, Chania and Rethymno. Rethymno maintains one of the best preserved old towns in Crete, with buildings that date to the 16th century. The Venetian castle of Fortetza is one of the largest standing castles in Crete. Landmarks worth seeing are the Neratze mosque, the Great Gate, the Rimmondi square, and the Venetian Loggia. Rethymno also provides a central location for excursions around Crete. Chania, for example, hosts a variety of cultural sites and is only 60 km away.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  0.5 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
