The Convent of São Paulo, in the middle of the Serra d’Ossa, in the Alentejo, is 180 km from Lisbon and 76 km from Badajoz.
By Car:
From Lisbon:
- Take the A2.
- After 56 km, take the A6 towards Évora, until you reach exit number 7 for Estremoz.
- Enter the N4 and after 1.5 km, take the exit for the N-381 in the direction of Redondo.
- After 15 km you will find, to the left, the sign for the Convent of São Paulo.
From the south:
- Take the IP2, passing Beja, Vidigueira and Portel.
- At the crossing with the N256, turn right in the direction of Reguengos de Monsaraz, where you must take the N38, on the left, towards Redondo/Estremoz.
- Pass Redondo and 2km after the Aldeia da Serra, you will find the entry to the convent on your right.
From Spain:
- Enter via the Caia border, taking the A6 in the direction of Estremoz until you reach exit number 7.
- Enter the N4 and leave 1.5 km later, for the N-381, in the direction of Redondo.
- After 15 km, you will find the sign for the Convent of São Paulo.
