Area information Set on a peaceful hill, the Steinbüchler Berghof makes a convenient base for hiking trips to the surrounding mountains and chalets. You can comfortably reach all local attractions from here. The Zauberwald (Magical Forest), voted biosphere of the year in 2006, is situated directly next to the hotel. Culture fans can look forward to the Mozart city of Salzburg, only a 30-minute drive away. Highlights in the city's social calendar include the Salzburg theatre festival.
