The country hotel looks back on a long tradition as a posting-station. The appealing, ochre quarry stone building even hosted the likes of Napoleon in 1812. Nowadays, the horse-changing station which served couriers and stagecoaches is a popular holiday destination. The conference room offers perfect conditions for conventions and seminars. You will find a modern overhead projector and flip chart. Light meals and beverages can be provided as a pleasant break during sessions.

Experience gastronomic bliss and friendly hospitality in the cosy, traditional Franconian restaurant. Your hosts serve a fresh selection of light, varied dishes and regional specialities. Upon request, the restaurant creates custom-designed menus for your celebrations and conferences. Accompany your meals with selected wines from first-rate vineyards. Up to 30 people can enjoy celebrations in the genuine Franconian atmosphere. The Frankenstube is an ideal setting for birthdays, childrens’ communions and cheerful evenings with friends. On warm days or mild summer evenings, you can enjoy Franconian wines or cool beers with other guests in the beer garden. On Fridays, the old brick oven, which features a charming grapevine decoration, conjures up Franconian bread specialities that faithfully observe traditional recipes. Watch the baker work his magic.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
