Area information

Praia de Mira used to be a traditional fishing town, but has recently become quite popular as a small and inviting tourist destination. Its beaches consist of white sand and plenty of sun, and are on the coast of the beautiful Atlantic. They are EU Blue Flag beaches, with lifeguards on duty and facilities for the disabled. Parking is available and there are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants. The average seawater temperature in summer is 16 °C. Praia de Mira also has some great waves and is popular with surfers and body-borders. Beyond the dunes that border the beach is the Barrinha Lagoon, with calm waters and tranquillity that make for good sailing, canoeing and windsurfing opportunities. During the summer months there are many points of interest at Praia de Mira, like the old fishing ruins and sights, cycling tracks, the beaches, night-life, restaurants and bars, as well as many entertaining programs and shows.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
