The intimate Essensia restaurant, crowned by vaulted Renaissance ceilings, offers the best of authentic Asian and modern European cuisine prepared by a multinational kitchen team led by Executive chef Ari Munandar. A low-key urban atmosphere, a modern back-lit bar and Asian accents make the Barego Bar a chic rendezvous, perfect for daytime snacking, stylish evening cocktails, and people watching any time. Last but not least, our beautiful Monastery Lounge, set amidst a breathtaking colonnade, formerly a cloister, offers a perfect setting for enjoying our famous afternoon tea.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

9 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast costs EUR 25.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 130.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
