The culinary offer at the Kempinski Palace is, to put it simple, diverse and first-rate. It is a combination of culinary delights, ranging from the Mediterranean-Italian cuisine and trendy tastes from all around the globe, to boutique sweets. * RESTAURANT SOPHIA The Restaurant Sophia is a slow-food a la carte restaurant, the jewel of the Kempinski Palace. The cuisine in Sophia is Mediterranean, based on elements of Italian, Spanish and local flavours. * FLEUR DE SEL The Fleur de Sel is a day and evening bar and restaurant lounge located on the first floor overseeing the bay of Piran. The name is a tribute to the salt fields of Portoroz of unique shape. * CRYSTAL HALL The Kempinski Palace owns a beautiful ballroom, which can be used for a variety of events. In the morning a daily semi-self service breakfast buffet is served until 11.00, offering a great selection of cold and hot breakfast dishes with freshly made egg specialities, pancakes and much more. The Crystal Hall, can be used for special occasions as arranged with hotels' sales department. * FORMA VIVA Forma Viva offers delights to those who cannot resist sweet temptations of different petite fours, cakes, variety of chocolates and other irresistible creations. All hand-crafted and made out of finest ingredients. * Palaces' wine cellar is an extension of the Bubbles in the sense of offering an even greater selection of wines in a more rustic environment. * PALACE CLUB The Palace club is the Palaces' lobby bar, a meeting place for in-house and outside guests, a bar where people meet to mingle, meet friends and enjoy various beverages and cocktails before or after the meal, read various periodicals, listen to the music and piano in a relaxed and sophisticated environment. The Palace Club offers a great selection of beverages and menus. * BUBBLES The Bubbles is a wine and aperitif bar, offering all kinds of sparkling wines and Champagnes. * POOL BAR For your day activities there are wellness facilities connected to the indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool features a bar with variety of healthy fruit and vegetable drinks. Various snacks and meals are available to order.

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 18.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

20 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.01 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 86.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
