Pousada Do Porto - Palácio Do Freixo

The Pousada has preserved the entire façade of the palace buildings, very much appreciated, which became a National Monument in 1910. Designed by the architect Nicolau Nasoni and built in the mid 19th century, valued throughout, the Palácio do Freixo is a remarkable example of Portuguese architecture from the baroque period. The palace houses the elegant restaurant, highly regarded, bar, lounges and meeting rooms. This unique hotel has 2 separate but interconnected buildings.
