Area information

The Residencial Praia do Vau enjoys a privileged location, right on the cozy beach with the same name, just 2 km from the tourist town of Praia da Rocha. The main city is Portimão, which offers very nice marina and historical areas by the ancient doc. There are several golf courses nearby. Alto Golfe (500 meters) - This golf course is located near Alvor. Morgado Golfe (20 km) - You can visit another golf course, a little further north, close to Monchique.

RESIDENCIAL PRAIA DO VAU How to get there: From A22, Exit Portimão, direction Praia da Rocha, once you are at Main Avenue V6, last round-about, turn wright, V3 direction Vau/ Alvor, 500 meters, turn wright and then left, 100 meters further you will find on the left side the Residencial Praia do Vau.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

30 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 5.00 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs EUR 6.00 per person.  American breakfast is not included and costs EUR 6.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 5.00 per person.  Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 5.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
