Travel information

If you are approaching from the North, drive along the A2 motorway for Dortmund. If you are approaching from the South, drive along the A2 motorway for Hanover. Exit the A2 motorway at Porta Westfalica / Minden and continue on route B482 for approximately 6 km. Follow route B482 under the Weserbrücke bridge. You will see a Mc Donald’s restaurant one km after the bridge. Turn right here. After 300 metres, you will see the Bach Hotel Zur Porta on the right-hand side, directly next to the firm GroheDAL.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
