Area information

The town of Plauen, famous for its lace manufacturing, is perfect for an interesting trip to the heart of the Vogtland region. It has all kinds of cultural highlights, such as the open-air theatre, various galleries including an exhibition of the "Father and Son" drawings by Erich Ohsers, the "Schaustickerei" Museum and "Spitzen" Museum, telling the history of the town's lace production. We reccommend a stroll through the historical Old Town with its cosy restaurants and bars, exploring the many shops in the area and a visit to the casino. Plauen is the ideal base from which to make fun day trips, especially to the nearby winter sport resorts, to the Pöhl reservoir or to the Plohn leisure park.

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
