Kiniras Hotel TavernaFamily run and owned by the same family for four generations since 1924, very much appreciated, Kiniras Hotel Taverna is a listed Venetian building dating back to the 15th century. Small traditional hotel in the old town of Paphos with 18 rooms and an open air courtyard. All the rooms have frescoes on the walls and there are artworks hung throughout Kiniras Hotel Taverna. Only 3km from the romantic and bustling harbour with its tavernas and shops. The preservation of the building is based on the original, very much appreciated, traditional material with the old layout. The architecture of the building gives it an irreplaceable expression of the wealth and variety of its cultural background. The balconies, and above all, with views of Makario Avenue C, are sensational, as are the decor, with stone and wood finishes and paintings that contribute to the beauty of the building.

Kiniras is the only hotel in Paphos that has achieved the cyprus tourism organisation 'Vakhis' award for traditional Cypriot cuisine and hospitality. There is a restaurant and cafeteria open all day to the public. The restaurant is certified and keeps up with the standards of HACCP and ISO 22000. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant has a lot of experience in the food of their culture. The secret of their success has been passed down from generation to generation, a tradition that has been going on for 80 years.

Area information

Paphos was the island's capital, famous for the remains of the Roman Governor's palace where extensive mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The city has an air of holiday charm combined with history. Elegance is lent to the town by its classical style buildings in the upper side. The lower part of the town, known as Kato Pafos, has a life of its own. Near the harbour there are restaurants serving fresh fish and many important archaeological sites worth visiting.

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
