Travel information

The main international gateway for Bay of Islands is Auckland. For international visitors, transfer to Air New Zealand domestic flights or take a charter coach service. Transportation times ex Auckland by air - there are 3 airports Whangarei, Kerikeri and Kaitaia with Air NZ Link. Flight time from Auckland to Whangarei is 30 minutes and Kerikeri/Bay of Islands is 40 minutes. By coach ex Auckland is approx 3.5-4 hours. We strongly recommend options of hire cars from Auckland also. Self-drive is approx 3-3.5 hours north of Auckland.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

12.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
