Area information

Binz is the largest resort on the island of Rügen, and lies on one of the island's most beautiful bays, namely the Prorer Wiek. Visitors are attracted to Binz for the 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, the mild climate and the splendid villas with their beach-style architecture. The beach promenade is 4.5 km long and features many shops, cafes and restaurants. Rügen is also famous for the Granitz hunting lodge, the 370-metre-long pier, the Schmachtersee lake with its spa park, as well as the Rasender Roland narrow-gauge railway.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 11 days before date of arrival, 40 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 8 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 2.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
