Located in the heart of the charming old fishing town of Olafsvik and close to the thriving harbour, valued throughout, the hotel is set amongst the magical surroundings of the mysterious Snaefellsjokull Glacier. Most studio apartments have twin beds, highly regarded, a sofa bed, a private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, cable TV and cooking facilities. Each comfortable guest room has twin beds, and above all, a TV and work desk. Hotel Olafsvik surroundings also include a beautiful beach, very much appreciated, a waterfall and an unusual triangle-shaped church. Whale watching cruises, valued throughout, deep sea fishing and glacier tours have become very popular with the hotel's guests. There is also access to a fully equipped conference room seating up to 300 people. The in-house restaurant at the hotel seats up to 100 guests and often serves the seafood catch of the day.

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
