As part of the hotel's commitment to a continuing revitalisation program the 50Four restaurant has just re-opened after a short closure to complete a full refurbishment. Among the improvements is the brand new breakfast dining concept which includes, in addition to hot and continental dining options, premium Italian blend "di Manfredi" espresso coffee and a tailor made "smoothie station" where hotel guests are invited to select their own choice of delicious smoothies blended by the restaurant's friendly staff. Another improvement to our North Sydney hotel is the inclusion of The Rydges ‘Dream Bed’. These exclusive patented beds are now available in every one of the hotels 166 guest rooms, from Standard Parkview’s and Harbourview’s to exclusive one and two bedroom suites. New luxury Egyptian cotton linen and sumptuous plump ‘Dream Pillows’ accompany the ‘Dream Beds’ to ensure a perfect nights sleep. The hotel’s much loved 50Four Restaurant and Bar, located on the ground floor of the hotel, overlooks the surrounding tranquil gardens. The recently refurbised 50Four Restaurant and Bar, located on the ground floor of the hotel, overlooks the surrounding tranquil gardens. This modern contemporary restaurant uses fresh produce and fine ingredients, so guests are sure of finding something to tantalise the palette. Open seven days. Breakfast is served between 6.30am - 10am. All-day dining menu available and the bar is open from 11am until late.

Please note there is a 1.5% transaction fee for Visa & MasterCard transactions and a 3.5% transaction fee for American Express & Diners club cards. All public areas in the hotel are strictly non-smoking. The hotel does offer smoking guest rooms which are limited to the 1st floor.

Travel information

From the Sydney Airport - 15 Kilometres north travelling from the Airport Turn right onto General Holmes Drive Left onto Southern Cross Drive which becomes South Dowling Street. Turn left onto Flinders Street then left onto Campbell Street Right onto Crown Street following signs to Harbour Bridge. Take the Pacific Highway Exit to North Sydney veering to the left, Right at the second set of traffic lights (Miller Street). At the second set of traffic lights turn right into McLaren Street. Rydges North Sydney is located on the left hand side. Taxi is approximately AUD 40-50 and a 35-45 minute drive. From the CBD - 4 Kilometres north travelling north on George Street Turn left into Grosvenor Street then right onto the Harbour Bridge. From here see Airport directions above. Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged AUD 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
