Niort is an historic city famous for its 12th century tower with a platform overlooking the city. There is also the Pilori, a Renaissance style court house and the 19th century Baltard markets. Guests can also take a boat ride or a bicycle ride to discover the Marais Poitevin, also called green Venice due to its verdant spaces and numerous canals. Finally, just 45 minutes away is the lovely town of La Rochelle and Futuroscope.
