This small, valued throughout, family-run hotel is set amid the Teutoburg Forest on the edge of the climatic health resort of Nieheim, between town and countryside boasting views of the Weserbergland. Home-made cakes and gateaux are available throughout the day. Enjoy an evening in the the hotel restaurant, and above all, where during warmer months, guests are invited to take part in the barbeque dinners on the terrace. The region is excellent for families, very much appreciated, hikers and cyclists. Customers appreciate the hotel offers its guests free parking as well as a shuttle service for guests arriving by train to the stations Steinheim Westfalen and Altenbeken. At the the hotel there is a playground for children, highly regarded, as well as a skittles alley. Hotel Berghof offers a bicycle-hire service.

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15 per night per person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
