The hotel underwent a considerable building project in 2005 to 2006 to create a new restaurant and function suite and improvements to all of the public areas this helped to increase its percentage with the AA to 85% making it one of the top 3-star hotels in Devon and the South West. The hotel is well suited to smaller meetings and team building sessions. Its peaceful surroundings aid concentration and allow delegates to relax and focus on the job in hand. There are 2 large meeting rooms that will accommodate up to 100 delegates comfortably and several smaller meeting rooms for between 2 and 25 delegates, plus several break-out rooms for smaller group sessions.

Food & Beverages

The hotel boasts a beautifully appointed restaurant serving 2 AA Rosette award-winning food.

Please note that the hotel is non-smoking throughout.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 1.75 per hour.  Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 5.00 per 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
