The Marina Resort Nelson Bay is situated in the heart of Nelson Bay overlooking the sparkling waters of Port Stephens.Only 45 minutes drive from Newcastle and 2 1/2 hours from Sydney,the resort is perfectly situated to cater to the needs of all guests. Rated as a 3 1/2 star resort,with a total of 44 rooms covering 5 levels and all have views of the bay, with the upper floors boasting spectacular panoramic views . All but our ground floor rooms have private balconies and 19 of our rooms have spas to complete your relaxing holiday.Our ground floor has disabled rooms and an outdoor terrace area.The internal lift goes to all floors including Ketchs restaurant which offers great food and great views (open for breakfast & dinner). Relax and unwind in our outdoor pool and spa which also has a wading pool for the children. The resort is a short stroll to safe swimming beaches, shops and activities including our famous dolphin watch cruises.

Food & Beverages

Enjoy your breakfast or dinner in the Marina Resort restaurant located on the top level of the hotel. It offers fantastic panoramic views of Port Stephens and beyond.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs AUD 10.00 per person.  Full English breakfast costs AUD 15.00 per person.  American breakfast costs AUD 15.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs AUD 15.00 per person.  Breakfast costs AUD 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged AUD 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
