All of our 16 rooms are unique and conserve original features like a marvellous painted ceiling, a large bed and an antique commode from past centuries. Relax in our Junior-Suite with a magnificent view at the Piz Lad and equipped with a comfortable living room with a small kitchen, hall, wardrobe, and a bedroom. Food & Beverages

"Everything homemade" is the moto in our kitchen. Typical Bündner dishes like "Put", "Capuns", polenta, deer-pepper, and sausages out of the hotel owned smokebox enrich the offer. Housebacked bread, salads and vegetables produced in hotels garden, as well as meat and milk products from the ecological moutain agriculture of the Val Müstair assure the high quality of our dishes. Every evening we prepare a special menu. A variety of regional specialities alongsside vegetarian dishes. As dessert we serve the famous Bündner nut cake, homemade icecream or the fine praline from our own production. Our wine cellar offers exclusive wines of the close by Veltlin and fine wines fom the neighbouring Southern Tirol.

Area information Müstair is the biggest village of the valley Val Müstair. It rises to a height of 1250 above sealevel. Its location secures a gentle climate and an early mountain spring. Cultural Highlight is the Monastery of Saint John. It was foundet by Charlemagne in the 8th century. The building is listed as World Heritage Site. During summer Müstair is a perfect starting point for hiking and mountain tours, as well as moutainbike-excurcions in the Val Müstair or in the close by national park. The region offers incredible and challenging routes for motorcyclists. Travel information By Car: From Zürich you pass by Landquart, Davos, Flüelapass, Zernez, Ofenpass to Müstair. Duration approximately 3.5 hours. Public transportation Zürich, Landquart, Samedan, Zernez and with the bus cross the Ofenpass to Müstair. Duration approx. 6 hours.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
