We offer newly renovated rooms with bath or shower/WC, and above all, TV and Internet connection, as well as comfortable budget rooms with shared facilities, a great restaurant, a bar/pub and a games room. Eiger Guesthouse enjoys a perfect location for winter sports, very much appreciated, hiking, mountain biking and all kinds of adventure sports. Our guests enjoy free entrance to the 25-metre indoor pool, which is summer and winter, and the ice rink, which is winter only, .

Rooms

The hotel offers 14 rooms on three floors. The first and second floors were completely renovated in 2007 and 2008. All renovated rooms have TV and Internet cable connection. On the third floor, which is not yet renovated, we offer budget rooms, each with a sink, plus shower/WC to share.

Travel information

Mürren is a car-free resort and can be reached from Lauterbrunnen with the BLM train or from Stechelberg with the Schilthorn cable car; both stations have ample parking nearby. The Eiger Guesthouse lies opposite the small BLM train station.

Sunny Mürren, the car-free resort in the Bernese Oberland, sits 1,650 metres (5,415 feet) above sea level in the Jungfrau region and is famous for its spectacular views of the Lauterbrunnen valley. The excellent climate permits a huge variety of outdoor activities year round. Whether it is winter sports, hiking or mountain biking, Mürren makes it possible.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
