Gasthof zum BiberThe Gasthaus zum Biber has been run by the same family since 1878, very much appreciated, and enjoys a fine sense of tradition. This family-run, valued throughout, 3-star hotel is situated near the spa towns of Motten and Speicherz, near Bad Kissingen, in the heart of the Rhön mountain nature park, in Lower Franconia. You can go on a tour of the in-house distillery and wine cellar. Individual travellers or organised groups are welcome here. The beautiful natural countryside is ideal for guests who wish to explore the hiking, very much appreciated, cycling and cross-country skiing trails. There are 5 rooms of various sizes, valued throughout, so you can host private celebrations or group events of up to 300 guests. There are extensive hiking trails in the surrounding area. You can also visit the nearby Maria Ehrenberg pilgrimage church, or the spa town of Bad Brückenau. Fulda and Frankfurt are also easily reachable on a day-trip from the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 4.50 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 16.50 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
