Hidden away behind the Halfway Bridge Inn and secluded in its own courtyard is the Halfway Bridge Barn. Converted from an 18th century Sussex stable yard and overlooking local farmland, the accommodation is comprised of en suite bedrooms. Rooms are thoughtfully designed in a modern context, featuring DVD players and games consoles. Care has been taken to use classic country material, giving the rooms a touch of natural elegance and distinction. Each room has a powerful shower and most have baths as well, with one room specially designed for disabled access.

With its 5 open fires, the modern restaurant presents a warm atmosphere reminiscent of its 17th-century roots. The menu features local ingredients and produce from London markets. In the morning, eat a delicious continental breakfast or a freshly prepared full English breakfast. The traditional bar at Halfway Bridge has an excellent range of beers and ale, and the beer garden has a real country feel.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
