The Melrose Arch Hotel enjoys flagship status within the African Pride and Protea Hotels portfolio. The hotel opened in 2003 and is renowned for trend-setting experiences and personalised service from the dedicated staff members.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday, from 06:30 to 10:30, and on weekends from 06:30 to 11:00. Pay a visit to March Restaurant and indulge in à la carte cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. Lunch begins daily at 12:00, with dinner ending at 23:00 in the evening. In the Library Bar you can sit on inviting leather couches all day and sip a whiskey. The Veranda is also open 24 hours per day and is the ideal spot to enjoy a cappuccino while watching the world go by. Open from 09:00 to 19:00 daily, the Pool Bar is nestled in the shallow water of the pool and seats up to 60 people. Drinks and the finest coffees can be sampled in the March Coffee Shop and March Bar, respectively.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.  Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site and costs ZAR 65.00 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 7 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  1.00 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs ZAR 175.00 per person.  Breakfast costs ZAR 55.00 per child under 5 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to two children under 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
