Travel information

From the airport by car, or taxi: Take CityLink Freeway, turn off at SE Suburbs exit to Kings Way. Take Kings Way until it crosses St Kilda Road and becomes Toorak Road. Next intersection is Punt and Toorak, continue on Toorak and take third Street on left, which is Murphy Street. Lyall Hotel is number 14. By Train: Get off at South Yarra Train station - walk right when you come out of the station and Murphy Street is the second street on the right.

Area information

South Yarra is known for its wide variety of things to do both indoors and out.Shopping and dining top the list and there are 18 cinemas within walking distance. The Royal Botanic Gardens with Melbourne's famous 'Tan' running track and the Yarra River are an easy walk from the hotel and there is an abundance of art galleries to explore within the area. The MCG, Melbourne Park Tennis Centre, Federation Square and The Arts Centre are all within an easy tram ride of The Lyall.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs AUD 20.00 per person.  American breakfast costs AUD 30.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged AUD 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged AUD 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
