The John Muir National Historic Site, the Victorian home of the world-renowned naturalist, is a half-mile away. The Best Western also hosts complimentary manager's receptions Monday through Thursday evenings, including pizza on Tuesdays. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a pool, spa tub, and furnished sundeck.

The Best Western John Muir Inn offers a complimentary continental breakfast daily. A Complimentary evening reception is hosted in the Muir Marina Room (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday).Enjoy delightful dining with ladder-back chairs and cozy tables in the Muir Marina Room recently redecorated with the history of the Martinez Marina showcased with original paintings.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to two children under 13 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged USD 10.00 per night in an extra bed.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
