Hotel details

Number 4 is situated in the centre of Marlow-on-Thames, a small town on the river in the county of Bucks. We are offer you for rental a beautifully refurbished 2/3 bed house for self catering, referred to as No4. All the bedrooms are ensuite, and there is a kitchen and dining room. No4 is located in the heart of Marlow and is 4 minutes flat walk from the High Street, shops & restaurants. We were originally inspected by the English Tourist Board who stated the standard was the top grade of 5 diamonds. The en suite double bedrooms are let individually or as a whole house, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. For long lets, the rooms will be serviced every 2 days, and the bed linen changed weekly, and this is included in the price.

By Train: Number 4 Marlow is just 5 minutes' walk from Marlow Railway Station. Trains run to Maidenhead once an hour, at five past the hour. From London, take a train from Paddington to Maidenhead. At Maidenhead, change trains for Marlow. The fast Maidenhead-to-London train takes 35 minutes. By Air: The house is approximately 15 miles (24 km) from London Heathrow Airport. Take the train from Heathrow to Hayes and Harlington Railway Station. Then take the train to Maidenhead and then change for Marlow. By Bus: There is a bus stop just outside the house.

Area information

Marlow is a charming historic town set on the River Thames and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with the Chiltern Hills to the north. Marlow is in Buckinghamshire but is very near the Berkshire border (the River Thames) and about 6 miles from the Oxfordshire border. London lies about 30 miles to the east, Oxford about 25 miles to the north west and Reading about 15 miles to the south west. Marlow's closest towns are High Wycombe 5 miles to the north, Henley-on-Thames to the south west and Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor to the south east and Beaconsfield to the north east.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
