Gran Vía and the surrounding streets form Madrids most popular shopping district. The main central square of Puerta del Sol is a 10-minute walk away, and other sights such as Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and world-class art galleries are also nearby. For nightlife, head to the lively neighbouring district of Chueca. Numerous typical tapas bars are found in the surrounding area, particularly in the streets around Plaza Santa Ana. The closest Metro station to the Ada Palace is Sevilla.
