The hotel restaurant Wittenberger Hof has established itself in the last few years as one of the leading restaurants in the area. Chef Markus Kuschel and his team combine creativity with local produce to spoil their guests with top quality cuisine. We consider breakfast to be a particularly important meal of the day. Therefore our healthy and extensive breakfast buffet has something for every taste and promises to give you an energetic start to the day.

Entrance to the underground car park can be found in the street Wallstraße.

Travel information

By car: A9 motorway, exit Coswig. Take the B187 to Wittenberg. Drive past the OBI Baumarkt and follow signs reading "Zentrum“. You will pass over a bridge, then at the next traffic lights take a right. You are now on "Hallescher Straße“. After 600 metres turn left into "Elbstraße“. Then turn right into "Wallstraße“ and follow it until the end. Here at the hotel you have the option of using our underground car park, with a max. height allowance of 2 metres. By public transport: Wittenberg is situated on the line from Munich to Berlin and is an ICE stop. The train station is 500 metres from the hotel.

Area information

One of the most important tourist attractions of the town is the historical area. Here you can find the Palace Church (where Luther posted his famous theses on the door), the Cranachhöfen and Cranachhaus exhibition rooms, the town church with Lucas Cranach's reformation altar, the old Leucorea university buildings, the Melanchthonhaus and the Lutherhaus and the largest historical reformation church in the world. The Elbe cycle path R1 from Dresden to Hamburg runs right by the hotel. Within an hour by car you can reach the towns of Berlin, Leipzig, Halle and Magdeburg.

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 11.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 33.50 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
