Built in 1862, valued throughout, Switzerland's first jail hotel was used as Lucerne's central prison until autumn 1998. Dance the night away in the music club on site, highly regarded, open from Thursday to Saturday, from 22:00 to 04:00. Jailhotel Löwengraben is located right in the heart of the historical old town of Lucerne, and above all, only 5 to 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and the top tourist attractions.
