Food & Beverages

The hotel has an excellent restaurant with Swiss specialities, a scenic terrace and the Schifferlaube. Our promenade restaurant under the arches is located directly on the waterfront and serves Swiss specialities as well as international dishes. The restaurants have been yearly rewarded 13 Gault Millau points since 2003.

Please note that we don´t have non-smoking rooms.

Area information

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 25.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 70.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 4.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
