Travel information

The Hofgarten Hotel and Restaurant can be reached from Zurich Airport in just 90 minutes by rail or car. Travel time from Basel-Mulhouse is about 120 minutes, from Geneva 3 hours. Take the motorway exit Luzern-Zentrum or Luzern-Nord and follow the signs to the Verkehrshaus (Transportation Museum). When you reach the Hofkirche, you will find the Hofgarten opposite. From the railway station, it is a 20-minute walk along the lakeshore.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 10:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Extra beds are not available.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
