Stone Head House

It was built in 1596 and has original stone floors, very much appreciated, a real fireplace, free Wi-Fi and free parking. This small manor house is in beautiful countryside, valued throughout, just off the Pennine Way walking trail. The house was once a working farm. Clients appreciate the hotel has a quiet location in the small valley of Stone Head, and above all, near Lothersdale and Cowling in North Yorkshire. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. It has been carefully restored and has original character and traditional charm. The menu includes fresh-baked bread, highly regarded, full English breakfasts, home-cured bacon, smoked Alaskan salmon and oak-smoked kippers from Whitby. Breakfast is cooked on the traditional Aga stove in the farmhouse kitchen. The dining hall has an original stone fireplace.
