The bus station is just a 2-minute walk away from the the hotel. Free bike rental available. There is no restaurant in the hotel but a few minutes' walk away there are a lot of restaurants, pizzerias and Grottos (taverns). You also have the possibility to cook in the room or to use the hotel's barbecue in the garden free of charge.

Please note that pets are not allowed from 1 July to 15 August.

Travel information

By plane The Lugano-Agno airport and Darwin Airlines guarantee a first class service. By train - From northern Europe and the northern and western parts of Switzerland the Lago Maggiore region can be reached by railway line Basel-Milano. If there are no direct connections available, it is necessary to change trains at Bellinzona for direction Locarno. - With the railway line from Milano-Centrale via Como there are connections to the Ticino from every part of Mediterranean Europe.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
