The hotel offers a wealth of facilities for the entire family, including its own tennis academy, a pitch and putt golf course, free bike and helmet hire, supervised children’s activities and a pet zoo with goats and ponies. The well-being centre Sassi caldi della Maggia, offers the ideal relaxing environment. Unwind in the steam bath, plunge into the cold-water pool before you chill out in the unique atmosphere of the Tepidarium where you can also book massages. The 9-hole golf course covers 16,000 m² on the west side of the hotel and is suited for beginners as well as for the more advanced players. Golf pro's are present all year round. The internationally renowned 18-hole course Gerre Losone is only 1 km away. Guests are entitled to reduced green fees. The Locarno and Ascona golf courses are only 3 km away from Albergo Losone.

Food & Beverages

A fine meal in our restaurant rounds off the day and our chefs will be delighted to spoil you with succulent Mediterranean dishes. Local Ticino produce is favoured: dairy products and meat from Val di Campo, fish out of Lago Maggiore with vegetables supplied from the Magadino Plain. Wines fitting the splendid meals are ready in the wine cellar, and staff are pleased to guide you where necessary. Local Locarnese families regularly celebrate weddings, christenings or Mother's day in the Ristorante Fontana or in our Sala delle Palme. Happy family sounds of conversation and laughter create an atmosphere of unison. There is also plenty to discover also in the bar, restaurant or Sala delle Palme. The bar is named Sartoria meaning dressmaker's shop and is decorated with tailoring utensils creating a cosy environment. You can easily enjoy the good company until the small hours. The breakfast buffet the next morning is available until noon.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 3.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 75.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 3. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
