Hotel details

The building was once a family residence, designed by Thomas Cubitt in 1882. It has been given Grade II Listed status because of its architectural distinction. On entering, there is a glass-domed stairwell housing a magnificent spiral staircase.

By Air (from London Gatwick Airport): The hotel is approximately 25 miles (40 km) from London Gatwick Airport. The Gatwick Express train service runs regularly to London Victoria Station. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. The hotel is just a short walk from Victoria station and taxis are also readily available from just outside the station. By Air (from London Heathrow Airport): The hotel is approximately 14 miles (23 km) from London Heathrow Airport. The Piccadilly line (dark blue) of the London Underground runs directly from the airport to Knightsbridge London Underground station, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.

There are plenty of great restaurants in the area surrounding the hotel, with something to suit all tastes and any budget. Just 5 minutes walk from the hotel, Kinnerton Street is a quaint thoroughfare lined with pubs and inns rich in original character and traditional charm.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
