For dining and drinking, the hotel offers a range of options to suit all tastes, with 5 restaurants and 5 bars. The beautiful and elegant 1901 Restaurant & Wine Bar has been recently refurbished and offers fine dining and traditional English afternoon teas. Catch serves superb fresh seafood, with champagne cocktails available in the adjoining Champagne Bar. Miyako offers traditional Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi and tempura, with take-away bento boxes also available. With a sleek, black granite bar running the length of the room, the Eastway Restaurant & Bar has a brasserie atmosphere and offers a varied menu featuring a wide selection of sandwiches, grills, risottos, fish and pasta dishes. The George is a traditional British pub-style bar, with oak-panelled walls and a decorative ceiling. An old-fashioned treat, the George offers beers, cider, wines and spirits, alongside English pub food and live sporting action on the TV.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs GBP 20.00 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
