Food & Beverages

At De PePerbus you will wake up with an extensive and varied breakfast. The breakfast consists of coffee or tea (and hot chocolate for the children), fresh orange juice, bread, meat and cheese varieties, yoghurt and homemade cake and jam. Special breakfasts adapted for specific needs are possible. Small snacks and drinks: In each room there is a mini fridge with little snacks and drinks (extra charge). On request, you can have some seasonal fruit, a vegetable salad, soup or ice cream. Evening dinner: In each room you’ll find a list of local restaurants serving typical regional food at reasonable prices.

Area information

Lokeren has a central location in Eastern Flanders, not far from the historical and cultural cities of Ghent, Antwerp, Bruges and Brussels. De PePerbus is located at 4 km from the town centre of Lokeren, where you will find museums, art galleries, marketplaces, numerous small restaurants and a lively shopping area. From the train station in Lokeren, you can easily take a bus or taxi to De Peperbus. You can start a beautiful cycling route from De PePerbus and cycle through the nature reserve of Molsbroek and the heathland of Waasmunster. Discover beautiful the Waasland and Scheldeland regions with their nice cycling paths. At 5 km from de PePerbus you'll find the Donkmeer lake at Overmere, with its typical eel restaurants and pleasure boat recreation. On the River Durme (in the centre of Lokeren) pleasure boats are available during the summer to take you towards the recreation area of Wachtebeke, with its swimming pool and children’s playground. Here you have the possibility of returning by via rural cycling paths.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children from 1 to 3 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
