All rooms are en suite and equipped with all common facilities. Some rooms have a balcony.

Hotel details

The only hotel in the old quarter that has a pool and is located 10 minutes from the port and the train station. The house is composed of parts of the castle Visconti. This was noticed by Leonardo Da Vinci in July 1507 when building the famous Rivellino. The big garden is accessible for guests only and the tower of Palazzo offer exceptional quietness and a private ambiance. There is a big secure car park on site. The hotel also features a lift. During the main season (from mid May to mid September) the garden and the pool are open from 8 AM to 6:30 PM.

Food & Beverages

The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Please note that this is a non-smoking hotel. Please inform the hotel in advance if you arrive after 21:00.

Internet

Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms and charges are applicable. 

Parking

Public parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 9.00 per day. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs CHF 27.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
