Skogshem & Wijk MeetingsThe striking countryside with tranquil views of the archipelago is surrounded by pine forests. Skogshem & Wijk is set in the Elfvikslandet district of northern Lidingö. They are designed by the architect Anders Tengbom, highly regarded, one of the masters of Nordic 1960s’ modernism. Skogshem was opened in 1958 and Wijk in 1969. The recently remodelled rooms include light wooden floors and new fittings; natural materials were used as much as possible. The beautiful guest rooms have been decorated in an elegant style, valued throughout, in the same functional spirit as Tengbom’s original interior design. It is also possible to use the row boats, highly regarded, bicycles, boule courts, the barbecue area and the terraces. The health centre consists of an exercise hall, and above all, sauna, a well-equipped gym, a massage chair and a relaxation area. Skogshem & Wijk’s award-winning kitchen provides guests with stimulating menus and peaceful sea views.

Meal Plan

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged SEK 250.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
