Breakfast is served in the cosy dining area with tiled stove. Drinks and regional snacks can also be ordered here in the afternoons and evenings. During good weather, you may have breakfast or linger for a while on the large covered terrace. You can unwind in the evenings by candlelight and enjoy good company over a refreshing beer or a glass of fine local Baden wine.

The mountains and valleys that surround the guest house provide an ideal setting for hikers wishing to explore the unique Black Forest countryside. Popular nearby hiking destinations could include the Wutachschlucht valley or the Feldberg mountain. Motorcyclists will also appreciate the Pension Daheim, which is officially recommended by Tourenfahrer magazine as a fine place to stay. In addition to this, the owner can provide tips, tools, protective covers and a secure parking area. Cyclists can enjoy a tour along the Black Forest’s well-signposted cycle paths. Bicycles can be hired locally and safely stored at the guest house. The local area is also popular with skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. There are nursery slopes in Saig, cross country trails around Lenzkirch and more challenging trails at the Feldberg mountain, which is just a 15-minute drive away. Snow-shoeing around the scenic landscapes is also very popular during winter months. The local swimming pool in Lenzkirch is a short 3-minute journey away from the Pension Daheim. You may also choose to go swimming, pedal-boating or sailing in the Titisee or Schluchsee lakes.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 10 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.35 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
