Area information

Enjoy the beautiful landscape and enchanting valleys surrounding the River Wiesen. Long stretches of signposted hiking trails await you here, with breathtaking panoramic views at every turn. The hotel makes the ideal base for a wealth of day-trip destinations throughout the Sauerland region. Popular attractions include the Elspe Festival, the Fort Fun theme park, the lake Biggesee, the Attahöhle caves, the Panorama Adventure Bridge in Winterberg and the visitors' mine in Ramsbeck. You also find numerous museums, breweries and artists' workshops. Keen cyclists will relish a trip to the Bike-Arena, the SauerlandRadring and the Lenneroute. During the winter you can visit the cross-country ski centre at the nearby Rhein-Weser Turm, or use one of the many ski runs in Schmallenberg and Winterberg.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.50 city/tourist tax per person older than 17 years per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 3 to 13 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
