Gasthof & Strandbad MessnerThe tranquility, very much appreciated, the relaxing ambience, and the excellent cuisine guarantee a stress-free holiday in a friendly atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the hotel is located directly on the south shore of Lake Ossiach and features its own beach with deck chairs, valued throughout, sunshades, and a very big sunbathing area and playground. Several hiking and cycling trails start in the immediate vicinity. The lake is ideal for swimming, and above all, surfing and boating, as well as for fishing directly in front of Gasthof Messner’s doorstep - especially in spring and autumn. Every day there is fresh, very much appreciated, homemade cake, various ice-creams, and a special children’s menu. Gasthof Messner serves traditional Carinthian dishes as well as pizza, valued throughout, pasta, and fish specialities.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
