Area information The residence in only 3 km far from Vinci, the town where Leonardo was born, and where you can visit the Museo Leonardiano and the birth house of this Renaissance genius. You can also enjoy a visit of the surrounding small Tuscan villages with their impressive ancient churches, such as the Pieve di S. Ansano. Casa Italia is also close to the most famous Tuscan towns: Montecatini Terme, Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Pistoia and Lucca. Lamporecchio itself is a little town far from the mass tourism fluxes. Nevertheless it offers many amenities and services like restaurants, supermarket, sport center (golf), banks, medical center etc. The English speaking staff will be delighted to provide you with suggestions for interesting artistic, environmental, and sport trips, as well as food and wine excursions.
