The Bayerwald is an officially recognised Schroth cure hotel. The Schroth cure was devised in the 19th century as a method of detoxification based on regulating diet.

Food & Beverages

Plan the days adventures while enjoying the rich and healthy breakfast available in the non-smoking breakfast room between 07:30 and 11:00. Lunch is served in the restaurant or on the terrace between 12:00 and 14:00 each day. In the evening, à la carte dining is available as well as a 4-course meal for half-board guests. Between 18:00 and 20:30 you can take your pick from soup, starters, a salad buffet, 6 or 7 different main courses, and a variety of desserts. Please note that the restaurant is closed from 14:00 on Sundays.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
