Visit the Schlossrestaurant and enjoy à la cart specialities, as well as diverse menus, complimented by a wide choice of select wines. At the weekends, in the empirical library, you can enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea, accompanied by live piano music and an informative talk about the history of the castle. The Victoria Bar is open during the summer on the terrace. Area information

Located in the climatic health resort of Kronberg, the Schlosshotel provides an elegant base from which to explore the attractions of the Taunus region. Highlights include the Opelzoo Königstein (zoo) and Hessenpark open-air museum. The Schlosshotel Kronberg’s 30-hectare gardens, featuring a rose garden and the empress’s grotto, are wonderful for walking through and relaxing in. Golf fans will enjoy the challenging 18-hole golf course. Frankfurt can be reached in just over 20 minutes by car. The cities of Wiesbaden and Mainz are both less than a 40-minute drive away. There is a direct train from Kronberg to Frankfurt’s exhibition centre which takes just 18 minutes.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 14:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 23.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All children under 18 years are charged EUR 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
